More on Cleansers
Last week, Jules shared her cleansing routine with you, so this week I’m sharing mine. I have extremely oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. My skin also requires constant exfoliation or the dead skin cells build up rapidly. Here is the combination I have come up with to keep my skin smooth and minimize breakouts:
For acne: AcneFree Oil- Free Acne Cleanser with Benzoyl Peroxide has so far been the only thing to clear up my acne. I use this every few days to stay on top of breakouts, and few of their other products when I pimples catch up to me.
For smooth skin: The Neutrogena Wave! I can’t express how much I love this thing. My skin feels super smooth after every use. They also now make the Neutrogena Wave Sonic. This is the broke girls version of a Clarisonic, and is so worth the 16 dollars! I use this almost every day.
For gently removing makeup: Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser does the trick for me, without leaving my skin feeling tight. I use this after a heavy makeup day.
For that extra something: Olay Regenerist Daily Thermal Mini-Peel heats up when activated with water, so in addition to fading spots with glycolic acid, it helps steam out blackheads. It is also a gentle exfoliant. I use this every few days, but sometimes several days in a row.
There you have it. I hope you find something that works for you! Good luck, dolls!

Did you know Lemon juice is a great home remedy for acne? It contains an AHA called salicylic acid. It will exfoliate the skin and penetrate pores to prevent clogged pores.
I actually had a zit disappear overnight by using lemon juice. Of course, one small zit is mild break out.
