Clip in extensions have to be the item I suggest most to my clients! They are a great way to get either the thickness or length -or BOTH- that most people want more of! I have been wearing my extensions since my junior year of high school when I chopped off my hair and then, of course, regretted it.

These type of hair extensions are the lowest maintenance option. You can put them in and take them out as much or as little as you want. Having this choice is a great advantage! It could definitely get irritating to have to feel something in your head all the time, and to not be able to brush your hair like you normally do. Another positive is that they are way less damaging for your hair. Other extensions can pull on your hair, so you will lose more hair then regular, and are also difficult to remove.

I always purchase my clip in extensions at Sally’s Beauty Supply. They have swatches of different hair colors so you can match your hair. The brand that I use is Euronext Premium Human Hair Extensions, which range from around $125.00-$150.00 depending on the desired length. I know this may seem a little pricey, but I am telling you it is completely worth it! If you take good care of them, they will last for years! Each pack comes with four wide pieces, and four small pieces. The wide ones layer up the back of your head, and the small ones are for the sides. Also, it is extremely important that you buy HUMAN HAIR extensions. The reason being that you cannot put any heat to synthetic hair extensions. With human hair, you can do anything you would do to your own hair. Wash, dry, curl, flat iron, color, highlight, you name it.

If you can’t tell, I am pretty obsessed with these extensions! They are so easy, and make a huge impact. All of those big buns and thick braids won’t just be in your Pinterest boards anymore, because you will have enough hair to achieve those styles that used to seem impossible!
